We are trying to keep our hopes up about staying here in Dallas, but it seems as though "the management" is steering towards keeping some of the other players over Travis. We've seen a big decrease in the amount of playing time he got in game 1 compared to game 3 and an increase in his competitions. We really like Dallas and don't necessarily want to leave, but if they choose not to keep Travis we won't stay here wasting away our savings while we wait for something else. And so the moving preparations have already begun...
Tomorrow I am going to start packing up the things that we don't really use on a regular basis in case we leave here in a couple of weeks. If, by some miracle, they keep Travis and we aren't moving, it will just give a head start for when we were planning to move in February.
At this point, send lots of prayers our way that Dallas has a change of heart, or that some other team sees his film and picks him up quick.
